The Handicraft Wallpaper model can be considered as a true synecdoche for the Romanian traditional art, expressed, in this case, by the size of the area of folk textiles. The art of the Romanian craftsman transcends time, taking on an unquestionable importance in the aesthetic that we have adopted for this collection. We were inspired by cotton terry cloths, used with love both for their utilitarian purpose and for their decorative value as objects of home embellishment or as an intrinsic part of women's folk wear. We then admired fine borangic marams, embroidered with silk thread and a love of beauty, enchanting the delicacy of hands beaten by life. Craftsmanship is a visual translation of a different way of being, living and perceiving the world around us. It is also what it has left behind, the unspoken mysteries of craftsmanship, the gift of the creative process and the joy of the spirit unfolding through art.

So, after loading up on beauty, we return home with our quiver full of inspiration and our souls ready to create. We set out to take elements of Romanian grammar, customs and traditions and render them in a modern and bold form, through overlapping textures and patterns, with surprising touches of neon and graffiti.Out of love and respect for nature, all our tapestries are made from natural, eco-friendly and biodegradable materials. That's why in our production process we use a Vlies base, a non-woven material, extremely resistant and easy to install.
