The Mural Painting Wallpaper pattern is part of the Poema Romana collection, a manifesto dedicated to our tradition and cultural heritage. In its creation, one of the sources of inspiration was the area of prestigious churches and icons in Romania. Among them, we stopped in the Bucovina region, Campulung Moldovenesc and Gura Humorului, for an incursion into the world of paintings found in the monasteries of the area. We delighted our eyes with the majestic frescoes painted by Nicolae Grigorescu at Agapia Monastery. The mural decoration found on these magical realms is what we have chosen to bring into people's homes through this wallpaper. The special symbolism affirms the indisputable importance of the religious dimension for the Romanian people. The generous space assigned to the biblical figures carefully created by our designers positions them in the role of protectors, warmly watching over anyone who stops to admire them.

So, after loading up on beauty, we return home with our quiver full of inspiration and our souls ready to create. We set out to take elements of Romanian grammar, customs and traditions and render them in a modern and bold form, through overlapping textures and patterns, with surprising touches of neon and graffiti.Out of love and respect for nature, all our tapestries are made from natural, eco-friendly and biodegradable materials. That's why in our production process we use a Vlies base, a non-woven material, extremely resistant and easy to install.
